Re: names I've come across and a question

Nico: a fake name, on a girl or woman. Always was and always will be IMO. On a boy it's sort of Milo-ish ... too lightweight for my taste.
Lumin: unfortunately I can't like this because of the word lumen which makes me think of intestines and blood vessels.
Priscilla: I like this a lot on paper. It's a good name. I'm not sure it would be easy to bear.
Kal-El: you know, I don't object to the idea of this, so much as I just don't like saying it. It sounds clunky.
Desmond: for some reason this sounds depressing to me. Glum. And it strikes me as indoorsy and wimpy like Theodore and Ambrose.
Tabitha: I guess I can't give you a real non-nerdy opinion, but I think it's a little flakey in real life.
Reuben: I don't know what I think of it. It's dorky, but also sounds statusy in a way, like Russell, vaguely surnamey. It's not ethnic to me. The sandwiches might make it seem ethnic maybe ... makes me think of a kosher deli? lol
