My friend has a Mark Stephen. She dithered for a long time between Mark Stephen and Stephen Mark, and still thinks she might have made the wrong choice.
I don't much care for Mark. Marcel is quite popular where I live, more so than Mark. When I see Markus, I hear the German pronunciation, which I like but it'd be too confusing IRL. I like Marcus the best, almost enough to use.
