If it's said TOM-as TOR-sen, then I can see your problem for sure. But it's not Thomas Thomasson or Thor Thorsen or even Thomas Thompson. Those would be like John Johnson. But Thomas Thorsen is no worse than Gerald Geffen or Peter Phelps.
