Re: Opinions on Vance and Vivienne

LOL. You know, I didn't even notice the Vivienne/Vance sibset's closeness to Vivian Vance, and I consider myself to be "I Love Lucy"'s biggest fan! Kind of makes me have second thoughts about Vivienne and Vance as a sibset, TBH. Although I'm not sure how many people, particularly young people, would make the connection.
Well, I wish HugeFanOfVivVance were here. I'd love to see her opinion.

I thought of Vivian Vance right away (which was one of the coolest names ever btw).
Lucy was born in my town, so I know at least one whole county that would make the connection right away!
As for the names themselves, love them. I also was going to suggest Vivienne Elise instead of Ellis, to honor an Elizabeth. It just has a classier sound.
I like all Vivienne variations, so this one is fine. In fact, it used to be my favorite... until I decided that Vivian is so much prettier. Vivien is the strongest spelling of the three though. All of them work well today.
Vance is a GP name of mine. I do like Vaughn, but Vance a little better. Vance Harvey is actually kinda cool I think - so that works. Vance Elliot or Vance Elian might honor an Elizabeth as well.
Otherwise Vance needs a multi-syllable pairing, like Vance Alexander, Vance Bromley or Vance Oliver... Vance Martin is kinda classy though too.
