I like Muse, Rainbow, Lotus petal, Dancer, Starlight, Lace, Springtime and Grandma. Was Edith a grandma or was the person that picked it, just really mean. she probably wasn't, because I'm 90% sure Rosalynn carter wasn't a dancer.

Victoria and Tranquillity are pretty. Rover and Rainbow are funny.

Real names: Starlight, Pinafore nn Pina or Pinna, Rainbow, Tempo, MuseI like Edith, Bess, Mamie, Jacqueline, Michelle, and MelaniaWas there any particular reason for the particular code name or was it all just random?

Rover? That's random even for such a seemingly random set of code-names.

Eleanor wasn’t the most attractive person. Maybe Rover is a reference to that? I wonder if she knew her code name?

Maybe rover just meant traveler, because she did travel a lot.
The only two presidential code names I know offhand are JFK was Lancer, and Reagan was Rawhide. Lancer and Lace, Rawhide and Rainbow, so they seem to be paired in some way?

I'm pretty sure they know their code names. I think they choose them from a list.Apparently, Eleanor was "Rover" because she was constantly roving around the White House, working and doing things.ETA: Nevermind, I just saw what you posted, below. Thanks for the info. :)

I actually really like Muse as a code name; I’m surprised Melania Trump picked it.Victoria is the only one that works as a person’s name, since the others are all just words.

Melania might not have gotten to pick her code name. The White House Communication Agency makes a list of choices and either presidents or agents pick the code names. According to Business Insider, the presidents’ families usually don’t choose. Muse sounds like a possible reference to her modeling career.
