Thanks for your answer! I agree that the two meanings could be mingled, since the dove is a symbol of good, purity, and so on. I've also just remembered that my dad told me his grandmother went both by the names Tauba and Tova.

Anyway, you seem to know *a lot* about Yiddish and Hebrew (the Baradin question) stuff! That's awesome! Are you Jewish, or just interested in the languages? I'm Jewish. :)
