We are thrilled to welcome baby Gabriel to our family! He's a delightful little guy and so far has been a great "starter" baby for two nervous ladies who have only experienced parenting a teenager. Sofia adores being a big sister. She can't wait to teach Gabriel to walk and talk and ride a bike and swim...
We decided on an open adoption so Gabriel's birth parents will be able to be a part of his life. We're sending them pictures and updates every few months and when Gabriel is older we plan on visiting his hometown in Mexico (or meeting his birth parents somewhere else if his hometown is still unsafe).
