DW: Setareh Mina [34]
DW: Susanna Yumiko Su-Jin [35]DD: Sahar Mika [6]
DD: Aya Leila [4]Setareh is 34 years old and a successful architect. Born to an Iranian family and adopted into a French-British-Iranian family, she's a native Londoner who is still in touch with her roots and proud of her heritage. She enjoys arts, crafts, artistic photography, and cheesy sci-fi films. She speaks Persian, English and semi-fluent French, as well as some Arabic. She's agnostic, but open to religion, and enjoys learning new things. Susanna is 35 years old and half Japanese-American, half Anglo-Korean. She mostly lives in London, but visits family all over the world. She's a journalist and well paid but no Stephen King level horror writer. She speaks English with her folks, but they both taught her what Japanese and Korean they know. She met Setareh at a friend's party, and they really hit it off - one marriage and two kids later, they've started discussing adoption - it seems the right thing to do, and it's a cause close to Setareh's heart.Their two children Sahar and Aya were conceived through a sperm donor, but they think there's enough children without homes that they'd rather adopt than have any more of their own. Not that it bothers their kids - they're happy to have more siblings!Sahar is 6 and very tomboyish. She loves animals, sports, nature and the outdoors. She also likes to read about these things. Aya, in comparison, is sweet and girly and wants to be an artist when she is older.Susanna and Setareh have long wanted a big family, and they think adoption might answer their prayers...Preferred number of children: 4
Gender preference: None
Age preference: None, as long as the children are comfortable with their family
Nationality and/or language preference:
Persian, Arabic, French, Japanese, Korean, English
Religion preference: Ideally not too religious, but they aren't anti-religion per se
Will you accept/would you prefer:
--siblings? Yes
--multiples? Yes
--children with disabilities/illnesses? Moderate disabilities, yes. Nothing severe, fatal, or life-limiting.
--pregnant teens/teen parents? Yes
