Daisy becoming very popular, but it is part of the old-fashioned name trend so it would be out of place either.

Daisy Fuentes (sp?) of MTV fame popularized the name in the 90's.
Daisy is cute, happy and youthful. My one concern is that it would not be the easiest name to carry if she wanted to become a professional. Of course her work product would be the ultimate factor. But I've been a professional for 15 years and I can say that prosecutors named
Mindy and
Gigi had a strike against them coming into the job. They overcame the image, but why make life harder unnecessarily? This is a very long winded way of suggesting a dd be givan a more formal name:

Daisy as a nn. It gives her options later. (
