I love the name Michael. It is my Dad's name as well. I don't plan on using it as a first name, because I don't like it *that* much, but hopefully using it in the combo Isaiah Michael-James :)
I'm with you on the nn. I'm thinking that might be the reason I do't like it as a first name, because unless he was always called Michael, I wouldn't like it. My Dad always refers to himself as Michael, Mick rarely, and never Mike.
Wait. Do you mean your're thinking of using it for a girl? I would never use it for a girl, but I guess it wouldn't be too bad in today's society.
