I don't mind Beatrice, although I wouldn't use it myself. I actually prefer Beatrix. Audrey Beatrice is a very pretty combo though, I like it.

That was my great-grandmother's name!
To me it sounds very elegant and sweet-sounding.
Audrey Beatrice - I would have never thought about it, but it works perfectly. Great idea.

I like Beatrice with the Italian pronunciation (bay-uh-TREE-che).Audrey Beatrice sounds nice enough but I hate combos that beginning with letters that follow each other (ie. Eleanor Flora, Miranda Nicola, Rahela Sidonie, etc.). OCD.

It's honestly not a personal fave, but a nice enough name. It just doesn't appeal to me, though I can see why others would like it. It's nice as a mn, and Audrey Beatrice is a nice combo.

Old and dowdy sounding. I do love the nn Bea though. I think I'd use Beatrix instead which seems perkier and quirkier.

I personally can't abide the name Beatrice. The second syllable is fine, it's the first syllable that is incredibly ugly. It always reminds me of beets, which is one of the few foods I can't eat without gagging. I was very surprised when the Duke and Duchess of York chose this name for their daughter in 1988. I realize that they didn't have the same freedom in naming as the rest of us do, and that the Queen had to approve any name they chose, but still they could have done better than that.

Beatrice has been on my list for ages; I really like it. Audrey Beatrice is a cute combo.Off topic, but I keep confusing you and our poster Evey. I realize there is a spelling difference, but that's kind of splitting hairs. When we have other posters with the same name, the poster who began posting after the other usually adds something like a middle name or number or changes their posting name altogether. I'm not saying you have to; it's just something you might consider.

Okay, I'll add my middle name.
