[Opinions] Valerie
I've just seen a BA Claire Valerie which I think is rather lovely.
But is Valerie too outdated to use as a fn?
What Valerie combos do you like, fn or mn?

Valerie is a bit outdated, but not freakishly so.I think it's pretty, and I'd rather hear Valerie than another Madison or Ava.

I think Valerie would be really nice as an mn but too old fashioned as an fn.Claire Valerie is lovely.I like Valentina better, but that's just imo.

I don't think it's outdated, but I don't like it. I would prefer it as a mn though, to avoid the nn Val, which I also dislike.

I like that combo, but I associate it with a girl who tried to steal my boyfriend, so I kind of hate that name. I don't think it is outdated, though. Even without the association, I think I'd prefer it as a MN than a FN.

I love it. I like Julia and Ann and Mary are becoming popular now. Joan's too formal for a woman; No
Jane's a prettier name beside; Jessica I do like Jessica.
