Una.I'm re-reading East of Eden and it's made me fall in love with the name. It's such a pretty, quiet name. I'm not sure of a middle name for it, really. Una Lorna - I love this.
Una Myfanwy - an odd mixture but pretty.
Una Therese - my choice.

Oonagh / OonaMy favorite spelling is Oonagh. So the Oona spelling is just a hop, skip and a jump from there. :-) I love both.Una gets confused in my mind with the Italian / Spanish word for "one" and a game of Uno. That's strange, because usually I love mixing Irish and Spanish names -- they seem to go together so well. Oona Margaret / Oonagh Mairead
Oona Glynis
Oona Bridget / Brigid
Oona Catherine
Oona Rosamund
Oona Gabriella
Oona Beatrice
Oona Gwendolen
Oona Bryony
Oona Muriel / Oonagh Muirgheal
Oona Briallen
Oonagh Mor
Oona Eugenia Yes?Please ask about Orla. I'm dying to give someone my stock combo of Orla Consuelo. Isn't she a dandy? Orla is Oona's fancier sister, in my mind.

Oona! It's quirky, fun and unexpected. Also for whateever reason I think of Una as "yoo-na" in my head (maybe because I think of "unity" of something). I don't know how I'd pair it, let me think... Oona Jamesina maybe? Yeah, that seems nice and crazily classy, I like that.

Oona all the way, it's so unusual to have two 'o's together that this spelling is a must.I like Oona Evangeline

Oona. And for some reason I thought of Oona Meredith. Oona Elise is also nice.

I only like it spelled Una.Una has such a sweet, pretty look and feel to it.I really dislike Oona. I can't stand the look of the capital 'O' and small 'o' together. To be bluntly honest, it just looks goofy to me.Una Beatrice
Una Frances
Una Rosemary

Oona is currently my favourite female name. I see the Oo version as ethereal, delicate, fun, and a little defiant (after all, not very many names begin with Oo). I also like Una, but it gives off a different vibe, and its spelling reminds me of the game Uno and the Spanish article una. My top girls' combo is Oona Christabel Fae.Here are a few more suggestions:
Oona Beatrix
Oona Ceridwen
Oona Zephyrine
Oona Sylvaine
Oona Mireille
Oona Belphoebe
Oona Gwenaelle

Eek! This is supposed to be under the OPI go back and forth. I used to like Una because it's simpler and Oona looks so unusual, but right now I think I like Oona better...Oona Gwyneira, Oona Rhiannon, Oona Liadan, Oona Isolda, Oona Ciara, Oona Corvina, Oona Wilhelmina, Oona Saffron, Oona Undine, Oona Nimue, Oona Vivien, Oona Valeria, Oona Cassiopeia, Oona Angharad, Oona Aranrhod, Oona Galadriel, Oona Samhain, Oona Minerva, Oona Dorcas, Oona Gwendolen, Oona Morana, Oona Morgan, Oona Rigantona, Oona Peony, Oona Desdemona, Oona Lenore, Oona Andraste, Oona Branwen, Oona Liora, Oona Rhian, Oona Hermione, Oona Antigone, Oona Lorelei

Una Josephine or Una Magdalene. Oh, and Una is used with its Latin meaning here.
