My favorite spelling is Oonagh. So the Oona spelling is just a hop, skip and a jump from there. :-) I love both.

Una gets confused in my mind with the Italian / Spanish word for "one" and a game of Uno. That's strange, because usually I love mixing Irish and Spanish names -- they seem to go together so well.

It's quirky, fun and unexpected. Also for whateever reason I think of Una as "yoo-na" in my head (maybe because I think of "unity" of something).

I don't know how I'd pair it, let me think... Oona Jamesina maybe? Yeah, that seems nice and crazily classy, I like that.

How about Oona Melisande?

Oona is currently my favourite female name. I see the Oo version as ethereal, delicate, fun, and a little defiant (after all, not very many names begin with Oo). I also like Una, but it gives off a different vibe, and its spelling reminds me of the game Uno and the Spanish article una.
