[Opinions] Julia
When I first heard this is thought it was old and boring. Now I think the exact opposite, refreshing, timeless, beautiful and classis.wdyt?

I've loved it for about ten years, actually, but it used to sound too old-fashioned for most people so I was a little afraid to use it. Now it seems to have caught on quite a bit, and now I'm afraid it's too popular to use. :(

My daughter's middle name is Julia. It is sweet and old-fashioned and I love it! I find Julie a bit bland; Juliet just sounds like someone is trying too hard to not use Julia. Best leave Juliet to Shakespeare. Juliana is a bit frou-frou. Julia is just right!

I'm not that keen on Julia - it just sounds a little middle-classed for my tastes. I prefer Juliet.Love the quote, btw. I had one a litte while ago from the Wanted episode; "I'm a desperate man on the run. I can hardly lean out and go 'Ooh-ooh! Del!"

It has always been one of my absolute favorite names! It is my mother's name and my grandmother from Ireland's name and so it has very positive associations for me, as well as being so pretty in sound and look, and classy and elegant. A great name! :)

Julia is pretty common where I live (especially on younger girls), so I consider it more bland and ordinary than beautiful and refreshing. I noticed it's not the England and Wales charts at all though. I don't like the name, but I don't dislike it either. My friend's seven-year-old sister is named Julia, so I always think of her.

I love Julia, it is one of my absolute top favourites, and I'm fairly determined to use it in the future. The only thing against it is that it has been hysterically popular here in Sweden, so there are many young Julias about.
But it has been of the most beautiful names to me for as long as I can remember, so I'm not sure if I'm willing to let popularity rule it out.

Ha ha. I love it, love it, love it. (Not that I'm biased or anything...). I used to hate it, but now I love it.

Thats my name! I actually love my name, I would never change it.When I was little, I always wanted to be a "Jessica" or "Nicole" like all the other girls in my class, but now I love it. It's uncommon without being Too "out there." Most people know how to pronounce it, and I really do love the way it sounds.Good name choice!! ;)

I like Julia, it's my cousin's daughter's name, but I can't stand how popular it has become here in Sweden. I think it's the number one name here for girls!

I went through a similar Julia phase recently but now I'm back to before. It's nice but nothing special to me.
