Well, I adore Aspen. I love the nature aspect and the Colorado visual. BUT...I started thinking hard about the name and since I love to nickname everyone by shortening their name, Aspen doesn't totally work for me. Obviously you can't shorten it to AS (ass!) and Asp sounds so awkward. So that's the only problem I have with the name.
If you know you'll never want to shorten it affectionately I think it's a beautiful name. I picture upper middle class parents that might be into skiing or something with a child (hopefully daughter!) named Aspen.

Siblings could be all over the board I would think.
