I love Felix, both meaning and sound. Probably has positive connotations because I knew a really handsome Felix when I was at school :-) And a friend has named her adorable son this.
Felix the cat doesn't even cross my mind, anymore than I think of Charlotte's Web when I hear Charlotte etc etc
I prefer Damian to Damien. Not sure why, I just like the look of it better. I like it a lot, and no, I don't think the Omen makes it unusable :-)
