[Opinions] Re: Ruth vs Rhoda
I really don't care for either but I guess I am choosing Ruth. When I pronounce it correctly it's sweet and down to earth although I can only picture an elderly woman or a young girl dressed in old fashioned clothing. Problem is like half the time I have a hard time pronouncing Ruth, it's just much easier to say Roof. But inspite of that I still prefer it to Rhoda, which just sounds like the word road with an -a tacked on the end.

Ruth is hard to say , where I live..even those who speak English well have trouble with the "th" sound, thus, "Root".
