What do you think of the name Julia? I love it, and it has so many cute nicknames, like Julie, Lia, and Jewel, just to name a few.

Juliet has been my favorite name for years, so Julia just doesn't compare - though it's fine on someone else. I do think that it's a short enough name that any nicknames besides the inevitable Jules sound contrived.
