I like it alright.
I think it sounds graceful without being too much of a word - it's familiar enough as a name, that it's not as totally word-y as, say,
Faith.
And of course it doesn't mean the graceful kind of grace anyway - it is more meaningful than that, so that is cool.
Gracie is really appealing as someone's name (nickname), if I think about it. I don't often think about it, because
Grace feels kind of generic lately. But I do like it.
Grace makes a decent middle name, because of the meaning. But it does feel a bit cheesy and boring. Boring middles are fine ... but I love the feeling of discovering something interesting when I learn someone's middle name, and the idea of hiding something cool in my own middle name (mine was
Lynn so that is just hypothetical I guess). To me, that is more fun than having a combo that flows like a double-name does. ___
Grace combos do that, imo, they flow like a double-name, like
Rose and
Lynn and
Anne and
Marie combos do.
Even Elizabeth and
Jane combos do.
