[Opinions] Morgan
I really like the name Morgan for a girl. What are your opinions on Morgan for a girl?

Morgan seems to have had a moment as a girls' name, but I'm thinking that might be a trend that will read as dated sooner rather than later.Prefer it on a boy.

I prefer it for girls. Not my fav name tho.

I really like it. Not enough to use personally, but for a character. It’s feminine but not frilly, kinda mysterious/intriguing, like it has a lot of history and knowledge attached to it (I guess that could be summarised as “witchy”).

I like it. It's too dated for a baby right now (if I had to use some version it would be Morgana since it's more 'fantasy' and less dated) but I like seeing it. It seems friendly, down-to-earth, trustworthy, subtle/girl-next-door, and masculine (not in the sense that it sounds like a boy-- I think Morgan is solidly unisex and even more common for girls in my experience-- it just has a masculine feel to it, the same way I think names like Tristan and Micah are feminine without sounding like girl names. Just describing the style).
I kinda wish Morgan was more "Morgan le Fay" and less "regular person", but to me that's what Morgana is for.Morgan fits in with names like: Shannon, Tamora, Tamsin, Lauren, Laurian, Rachel, Cora, Amber, Shay, Leah, Leia, Brenna, Briana

Deep hatred. Morgan is masculine regardless of use on girls, folks even went to the trouble of creating feminine versions, which are very attractive, so there really is no need to awkwardly pin yet another guy name on another poor girl.

Morgan is the athletic popular girl at school that is good at every sport. Her parents are upper middle class and have the $ to sign her up for every sport ($$).

I don’t mind it for a girl, but I prefer it for a boy. My son has a (male) friend named Morgan.

It seems very 1990s preppy girl..
It's not ugly or bad, I think it's perfectly nice - but the glamor didn't survive.
Does not remind me of Morgan le Fay at all ... the name on a real gal, and the airs of that name, seem to have diverged completely. No fey left in Morgan at all.
Morgan seems "strong" without being loud, like Vivian - but saner, less artsy seeming.
I think Morgana is better than Morgan.

I've never liked it, on either girls or boys. It just has an ugly, heavy, even sullen sound. I picture a grouchy-looking rich girl with a big horse face and bad perm.

It's alright though I prefer Morgane and Morgana on girls.

I don’t like it for a girl. I prefer Megan for a girl. However, I LOVE Morgan for a boy. I guess I’m more used to it that way as it’s way more common for boys where I live (UK).
