Helene. But my dad read a newspaper article about a late Danish actress with Charlotte as her first name, and he liked it so much, that I was given that name instead. And I love that because it's the perfect name for me. I was supposed to have Laurine as my middle name, my maternal grandmother's middle name, but didn't get it, because my parents thought Charlotte was long enough. I did take that on, on my own in May 2020, along with Astrid as first- & second middle names because I thought something was missing. Only then did my name feel complete to me. I'm now Charlotte Laurine Astrid.
Christian / Kristian, had I been a boy (that would have been my brother's name, when he came along almost five years later, but he became a Kristoffer instead).
A thought:
The parents of actor siblings John and Joan Cusack?
I guess they didn't know they named their kids the very same name.
Then again, how did they not even know, or was told, this fact?
