I kinda like it. The idea of a toddler called Joanne really tickles me. It's a dated name, but I think it's dated enough that it's edging into "quirky" territory. It's a warm and down to earth sort of name, unassuming and friendly.

Maybe I'd pair it with a middle name that is more current, to balance Joanne's datedness.
