Do you think that Arabella, nn Bella, and Anneliese (I prefer it pronounced ann-uh-LEESE-uh), nn Anna, would be too close for sisters? I love the name Anna, but I'd prefer not to use it by itself. I was also thinking about using it as a nn for the lovely Susanna. What do you think?

I like Susannah a little more than Anneliese, but both are nice. Anna would definitely work as a nn for either. I've just recently started liking Arabella more. It's a little on the frilly side for me, and the only -bella name I like.

I love all three names and I don't think Arabella and Anneliese (I like the four-syllable pronunciation also except I say ahn-a-LEEZ-a) are too close for sibs. Now Anneliese and Susanna are too close, of course. Anna is an acceptable nick for Susanna.

If I had to pick two, I'd go with Arabella and Susanna over Arabella and Anneliese but you can't go wrong here.

I think Arabella nn Bella is adorable. They're lovely names and really unusual which is always a bonus. Not too keen on Anneliese (do you like Annalisa?) but I adore nn Anna. It's probably better with the ever beautiful, classic Susanna. My current favourite is Judy-Anna. WDYT?

I don't think they are too close together. I especially like that the both start with A but the nn used will not. Bella and Anna are both beautiful nicknames. Very pretty.

They're ok, but Anna and Bella can be formed into Annabella, which is a little wierd...

First, I like close sibling names. Second, Anna is a good nn for Susanna or Anneliese.
