[Opinions] Ivy
I have recently fallen in love with the name Ivy. What do you all think of it? Is the poison ivy association too strong? Any middle name ideas??Thanks!!

I think Ivy is really pretty, and old fashioned in a good way

It reminds me of the Ryanhood song "Ivy". I wonder why...

I love the name Ivy. It's on my top ten list. I don't think of poison ivy at all when I hear that name, though other people might. I use the combo Ivy Isobel. Other mn suggestions: Gwendolen or Pearl maybe.

I don't think of posion ivyI've actually been thinking quite a bit about the name. I've known one, back in Junior High, and it's always intrigued me.However, as much as I like it, I'm not sure if I'd use it. I can't put my finger on why, though. It just sounds a bit...off.My personal Ivy combination is Ivy Veronica. I also like:
Ivy Kathleen
Ivy Katherine
Ivy Leonore
Ivy Elinor
Ivy Alexandra

I initially think of the character Poison Ivy on Batman and the girl on The Village, both of whom are sort of mysterious and creepy associations. Other than that, I think it's nice and if I knew someone with that name, I think the other associations are erasable.

It is a lovely name. I know of a sib set name Ivy and Frost, which is oddly cool. Anyway the poison ivy association didn't even enter my mind.

Ivy is ok. I think of it more as a pet's name, but that may be because we had a horse named Ivy.Ivy Melena
Ivy Nicole
Ivy Portia
Ivy Janelle
Ivy Eveline
