Carolina?
I've always loved the name, but only pronounced 'Caro-lee-na'. I would only use it as a middle name because of the pronunciation problem. What do you think? Thanks. :)

I love it said that way--it's gorgeous! I agree about only using it in the middle, though.

I love the name and pronounced cah-roh-LEE-nah (assuming that is what you mean). I like the name with either pronunciation, but I prefer the one used in Spanish and Italian (etc).

I think most people would pronounce it like the states, Cah-ro-line-a. I much prefer Caroline.

I love Carolina! Sometimes, I wish I had named my youngest Anna Carolina rather than Anna Caroline. No matter, though, since I call her that anyway. BTW, I live in Virginia and I still considered Carolina and thought it had a good shot at being pronounced correctly. ;-)

I kind of like it, except it's a tool we used to help us in Spanish lessons. (The only consonants that can be doubled in Spanish are the ones in Carolina, apparently.) It would make a good mn.

I've always seen it prn that way until last year when I met someone with this name prn like the state (which is wierd because I live in North Carolina), but I 've always prefered it prn the way you like. I find it beautiful and classy.
