Lucy
What are your thoughts on the name? Any combo suggestions? My bf likes Lucy Winter, as do I, but do you think the name should be reserved for a child actually born in the season? Thanks in advance.

I love the Lucy. I'm expecting a girl at the end of Feb./early March and my husband's first choice is Lucy. Mine is Susannah, so we're thinking about Susannah Lucy. Lucy is very popular in England, and I'm sure it will be become very popular in America too, but I still love it.I like Winter as it's kind of romantic. I like the idea of Lucy - light - mixed with Winter. Light in Winter is a really nice meaning. I don't know how this would work in the middle of July, but if you like it, it's a pretty combo, go for it.

I absolutely love the name Lucy, it's always been a fave of mine actually. Lucy Winter is a gorgeous combo and tbh I do kind of like the season name to match the season the child is born in. That said, it is the mn, so it wouldn't really matter if you used it.

I love love love Lucy! I prefer the spelling Lucie tho. I love it on it's own or as a nn for Luciana but probably more on it's own. Lucy Winter is very cute. I'm loving Winter as a name lately. Despite the fact that I'm not all that impressed normally w/ the "Celebutante" crowd among the tabloids I have to admit I love Nicole Ritchie's daughters name and that's what first turned me on to Winter. Harlow Winter Kate. I don't think she'd have to be born in the season to use the name. I personally think that's mildly tacky. My ex bf Sophmore year had an older sister named June (born in June) and a younger one named April (born in April). Dreadful imo considering the boys had great names. Some combos I like (* by my faves)Lucy Katherine *
Lucy Kate
Lucy Autumn
Lucy Camille *
Lucy Carissa
Lucy Charlotte
Lucy Clair
Lucy Cordelia *
Lucy Jasmine
Lucy Katarina
Lucy Miriam
Lucy Mariah
Lucy Margaux *
Lucy Natalia

Lucy Shannon
Lucy Violet

I love Lucy Camille, Lucy Miriam, Lucy Margauz, and Lucy Willow.By the way, I really like your son's name; Cohen Michael. One of my friends is named Cohen Thomas. It's the maiden name of his mother and I've just always liked it and the way it incorporated some family history into the name.

Thanks! It has nothing to do w/ my family but I heard a friend of mine call this guy she knew by his last name a couple times (Cohen) and it always struck me how he actually looked like it could be his actual name so when I found out I was having twins (I had already picked out K's name) it immediately came to mind.

I really like Lucy. I don't think Winter needs to be used only if the baby is born during the winter. Lucy is so cute!

Lucy Winter is pretty. But it wouldn't seem right if she isn't born in winter. How about Lucy Willow?
