Need a German name for a puppy
My brother will be getting a puppy soon - probably tomorrow if things work out. He wants it to be at least partial German Shepherd (aka Alsatian), a female, and he wants it to have a German name. He's not feeling so well right now (he is quite sick) so he wants me to make a list of suitable German names for him to pick from when the puppy comes home. German names aren't really my thing - what would you all suggest for a little German girl-puppy?? The only thing we want is for it to be short and cheerful. The name Senta is also not allowed as it was the name of our Opa's old dog.Help me make a list, my good people!

I know a German dog named Susi, and she's adorable, but a dachshund, and I'm not quite sure if that name would work on a German Sheperd. Other than that:
Pauline
Franziska (or Franzi)
Sonja
Wilma (on a kind of related note, I know a parakeet with that name)
Josefine
Eleonore
Anika

Susi would be suuuper cute, especially if she grows to be a giant galloping hound. I love things that one does not expect! Thank you :)
