I do like it, and Kathleen Midori would make a great combo.

It's very dated around here, screams Irish heritage. It's okay though, I wouldn't mind seeing a little Kathleen. Kathleen Hitomi is interesting, along with Kathleen Antonia.

I love Kathleen. It's so clean and sparkly.I prefer the Cathleen spelling because it's softer and there are no "k's" in the celtic alphabet. There are few "k" names I like for a girl. There's nothing wrong with Kathleen. I just prefer Cathleen.Kathleen Antonia is lovely. Kathleen Midori is intriguing. As for my combos, Mairead Cathleen is my stand-by. Others:Aina Kathleen
Kathleen Sonnet
Kathleen Verity / Verity Kathleen
Kathleen Hilary / Hilary Kathleen
Kathleen Ailsa
Kathleen Isotta
Kathleen Heriklea / Hericlea
Kathleen Isidora
Kathleen Jacinta / Jacinda
Kathleen Eirlys ("EHR-liss")
Kathleen Astraea
Kathleen Graciela
Kathleen Vered
Kathleen Freya / Freja
Kathleen Isolde
Kathleen Matilda

Kathleen... Turner? :/I think it's 40-something secretary, like Irene. -a endings might do Kathleen good. Irina sounds modelesque compared to Irene, for instance. Maybe dropping the H, too?

yuck... no... Kathleena wouldn't sound quite right... Kathleen sounds solid as it is. Needs the h to flow right too.
Haven't known so many Kathleens... maybe 1 organ player in her 40s or 50s or so, but otherwise, 1 was a classmate in school in the 80s and 1's a younger girl that most address as Katie. (seems a waste to shoten a solid and pleasant name like Kathleen to Katie when it's no faster to say) Otherwise, it's a classic that need not be butchered or fiddled w/ to make it trendy.
Besides... The question was about what a person would pair it w/ for combos rather than how to disect and re-construct it.
