Tobias, Lars and Sebastian...
As brothers, what would you think of Tobias, Lars and Sebastian?
... or do you prefer Fritz, Pascal and Malachi?
Just curious.

I think Tobias, Lars and Sebastian is a good sibset. The names go together well.

Tobias, Lars and Sebastian make a wonderful sibset!Fritz, Pascal and Malachi... not so much. I like the names individually but I don't think they go well together because they are so different in style.

Tobias and Sebastian would make a great sibset. Lars is dated.

Where I live and have lived Lars isn't common enough to be dated.

Tobias, Lars and Sebastian together sound poncy to me.I prefer Fritz, Pascal, and Malachi, because I like the individual names better, and the grouping seems more eclectic. My ranking of all six is like this:
Pascal
Malachi
Lars
Fritz
Sebastian
Tobias

Tobias, Lars, and Sebastian is a pretty nice set of names, though I guess it feels a bit pretentious, especially Tobias and Sebastian (Lars is awesome!). Fritz, Pascal, and Malachi are cool, but I wouldn't use it as a set because Sally Singer, who used to write for Vogue who has boys named Malachy, Pascal, and Oscar (a very nice set, I must say!).

Thanks. Interesting. Have never followed most mag writers. I don't like the sp. Malachy. It just looks WRONG. Oscar's nmsaa and still has the grouch association permanently implanted in my brain... and also conjures up memories of this random guy who decided to on me on public one day my 1st week of uni.

Tobias, Lars and Sebastian > Fritz, Pascal and Malachias individual names they're all decent to great.

I prefer Tobias, Lars and Sebastian as a sib-set. I love all those names, out of the other group I only like Fritz. Tobias and Sebastian go really well together, Lars is the odd one out imo.

Tobias, Lars and Sebastian definitely, but that's because Sebastian is my #1 male name and wins over all the other. If I could mix and mach I'd go with Sebastian, Pascal and Malachi.
If I met a sibset of Tobias, Lars and Sebastian I'd think they were German, since the only Tobias I know is German (and that's my preferred pronunciation) and there are quite a few German Sebastians I know or heard of.

You are right, a sibset of Tobias, Lars and Sebastian could very well be a German one.
Tobias and Sebastian are popular here while Lars is a little more uncommon but in use nonetheless.

Hmmmm... I like the names Tobias, Sebastian, Pascal, and Malachi best. Lars and Fritz are just weird, in my opinion. How about you switch them around and make the set Tobias, Pascal, and Sebastian, or Tobias, Malachi, and Sebastian?

What's weird about Lars and Fritz? Tobias, Pascal and Sebastian are ok, but I do still like Fritz and Lars. They're fun and have spunk. I don't think of them as weird. Canada's quite multi-cultural, so I'm used to variety.

Well, so maybe there not THAT weird, I just like the others better.
