WDYTO Olive?
I have never really liked the name until now, that is. I really love olives (the food), but I'm worried that a young child would get teased at school. I love: Olive May, Olive Gretel and Olive Alexandra.

It's a name I want to like but I can't help but think of olives, Olive Oil, Olive Garden, etc. I much prefer Olivia, despite its popularity, or better yet, Oliver for a boy.~Heather~

I automatically think of the food. I like olives, but I have always thought that it was strange to use Olive as a first name. I don't like the sound of the word enough to ever use it as a first name. I would suggest Olivia but it's way too popular.

I've only known one lady named Olive and she was really nice, other than her the name reminds me of the food and the character on the TV show 'Popeye' who was named Olive Oil. It has rather a hard sound to me and so I like Olivia much better. :(Image hosted by Photobucket.com

It's okay, but I tend to think of Olive Oil from Popeye!
