I like the name, there's only one problem: people will call him Sax for short (sounds like s*x)I like Saxon Harris best from your list, I really dislike Dara, it sounds way too girlish

My friend has a sister named Saxon. I think I prefer it on a boy. Mika

I don't like it. Not only do I think "anglo-saxon" immediately (and then my mind goes "WASP!"), I picture one of the species of aliens from K.A. Applegate's Animorphs books. There were plenty of odd ones, including the Yeerks, Andalites, and the Hork-Bajir, but the creepiest ones were the Taxxons."The Taxxons are a species of centipede-like creatures with many-segmented bodies which they drag along the ground at a rapid rate. Born with an eternally voracious appetite, the Taxxons have been known to eat their own dead. The Taxxon's red, teeth-rimmed mouth gives it maximum chewing ability. The Taxxons live in complex catacombs which have been designed for them to slither through. The Taxxons have been infested by the Yeerk Empire."That, unfortunately, isn't the prettiest of images to hear with the name Saxon.Saxon Harris really appeals to me, of the three you've listed--I've really liked Harris lately, even though I picture Harris Tweed of the Thursday Next books. It's short but kind of dashing, and much more interesting than Harrison.Array

The Germanic TribeStrange, but I kinda like names after ancient people. Such as as Saxon, Norman, Roman. Heck, why not Visogoth? Anyway, it's a pretty good name.

I think it's a really interesting name- it sounds quite old and bold (sorry for the rhyming :) I used to not like it at all, but now I like it a lot, but I don't think I'd ever use it.

I adore the name Saxon Harris. An awesome pairing. I don't know if I would actually use it though, because of the actual Saxons back in the day and what they were widely known for doing. But it is very tempting.-Spree"We can even learn from our enemies." -Ovid

It's one of those "good in theory but not in practice" issues. I certainly don't consider myself overly cautious, but I think the teasing potential for this name is pretty much off the charts. I myself, a "mature" 25 year old, kind of have to stifle the giggles at the thought of little Sax running around the playground;) just too close to sex for childhood comfort. This effect could be diminished in middle name slot.

It's alright, I'm not too sure about the X bit but it's okay. Saxon Harris and Saxon Joshua are rather nice! :)

It was the name of the villain in the King Arthur movie that came out a few years ago. I really liked it then, and still do now, but I could never use it. I like Saxon Joshua, and also Saxon Maxwell."No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."
