Alexis?
What do you think of this name for a girl?

I like it for both genders. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, it was very popular for girls, but the popularity has been decreasing these days. Alexandra will be less likely to sound dated down the line, so if you'd prefer a name that isn't likely to seem dated, I recommend using Alexandra rather than Alexis, but Alexis is still a great name.

I don't like boy names on girls. There are plenty of Alex- options available without going the genderbender route.

At the moment, I don't mind it at all. However, as a teenager, it was one of my favourites for years! I love both Alex and Lexi as nicknames.

I like Alexis as a boy's or girl's name.
Most nicknames for a girl that could work: Alex, Alexi, Lexie, Sissy (although I don't really like the connotations)X

I already thinks of it as unisex name, one of my faves in fact, so to me it's cool for a girl. :)

I prefer Alexandra & Alexia. TBH, in my mind Alexis is a boy's name.I agree with RoxStar, I can't stand the nickname Lexi. Lexie is a bit better but I can't imagine someone older than 6 nicknamed Lexi/Lexie.

I like it better than the other Alex names, actually. I can't stand Lexi though.
