Re: Opinions on my current crushes?

I love Adelaide! I also like the French pronunciation of Adélaïde. I prefer the nickname Addie. Very sweet. :)
Ariadne is gorgeous! I love it. I like Ari best as a nickname.
I also love Louisa! xD But I like it best with no nickname used. :P
I don't usually like feminine forms of Nicholas, but Nicoletta is one of the only ones I do! It's lovely. I actually like Lettie as a nickname better. Nico is to me strictly masculine.
Benjamin called Ben is rather more common, but is still a great name. :)
I like Cassian just fine, But I don't like the nickname Cass for some reason. :/
Love Gideon! Great, underused name.
Personally I like Nico as a nickname only, not a full name. So I would use a form of Nicholas, *then* call him Nico.
Peregrine is fine, not quite my style though. Like most people I think of the hobbit or the falcon. xD Also Saint Peregrine (I'm Catholic). :P Pippin is an adorable nickname for a little boy, though. I could also see Perri or Perry working. For me, Peregrine might be the most "out there" name of the bunch, at least in the US.
I don't see any problem with using the name Louisa. It wasn't his actual name. I say go for it if you like it!
Nicholas is obviously a family name, in which case there would be nothing weird or wrong with using it in some form. You are simply passing on a family name. :) Again, don't worry about it!

I prefer Nico for a boy as well, but other people were telling me to use it for Nicoletta. I agree with you and I'll probably take it off as a nn for Nicoletta.
As for Nico for a boy, I'd never use Nicholas since my cousin and I are very close. I like to honor, but I don't particularly like Nicholas, just Nico. I know so many Nicholas' that I'm tired of it. Nico still seems fresh to me though.
Thanks for all your positive responses and for answering all my questions!
