Re: Honest reactions to my favorites?
Anne or Susannah "Annie" I much prefer Susannah, it's more interesting. I quite like it, it's warm and fuzzy
Louisa- I hate Louise and so pretty much hate Louisa too. i can't give you a good reason though other than the 'wees' sound bothers me.
Eliza- pretty, not the most exciting thing in the world though
Sally- I don't like Sally, it just seems like the name for a doll not a human to me. And while Sarah is okay, it's tired and Sally as a nickname seems weird to me since they don't sound the same and Sally isn't exactly a shortened version.
Virginia- One of me least favourite names of all time (Top 5 I'd say). There are so many things wrong with the name. It has the word virgin in it and young children mistaken it for the word vagina, which I've seen happen in real life.Alfred- Adorable in a frumpy kinda way. I like the nn Alfie
Arthur- similar in style to Alfred but better I think because it's more vowelly which makes it less frumpy. It sounds better with an American accent than with mine though
Edwin- meh
William- nice enough, very popular here though. It's a good solid name, but it wouldn't make me look twice
James- I really like this despite it's popularity. It's a bit tired but such a good name still.
