Re: Full name for nn Millie
in reply to a message by Sarah
Well personally, I love Millie as a full name - I may be a little biased ;) - but I don't see anything wrong with it. I was a bit ahead of my time being called Millie and not something "Millie", and always got complimented on my name as a child, now however (especially in England) nickname-names are most definitely in, so a little Millie is not going to stand out much. Neither, however, would a Amelia "Millie", or a Emilia "Millie", as these are popular too.If I really had to pick, I'd pick Millicent. It definitely does not get enough love. My sister calls me Millicent affectionately, the same way I sometimes call her Eleanor, even though our full names are the common nicknames of these!
