Friend had a baby!
My sisters best friend from elementary school and middle school who I was also close to just had a baby. It makes me so excited for her but also a little weirded out since she's 4 1/2 years younger than me. Makes me feel very old and wondering why I haven't tried to have one yet. :PHis name is Louie Amadeus. I tried to ask if Louie is a nn for Louis or something else or not a nn but mama is a little busy at the moment. She is a musician and so is her boyfriend. She mostly does jazz but also some R&B, funk, and rap. I know her boyfriend plays an instrument but I'm not certain which one. I assume they are both fans of Mozart, I plan on asking her once she has more time.

Louie could be a nn for Ludwig! Much zingier than boring Louis.

Didn't think of that. Totally a possibility.

It would be better as Louis Amadeus, but maybe thats what it is. You'll have to update us if you find out.

I love the inclusion of Amadeus since the parents are musicians! I'm also hoping that Louie is a nn for Louis which would be awesome paired with Amadeus.

I love Amadeus :)
And I adore Louis. Louie is cute, but better as a nickname

Amadeus seems pretentious and pompous as a middle name for anybody whose last name isn't Mozart.
Louis or Lewis would be nice, but Louie sounds like a hoodlum.

I like Amadeus as a middle name, but not Louis or Louie as a nickname and certainly not Louie as the given name. So either way, I don't like the first name.

She's mostly into jazz? I'm thinking Louie may be after Louie Armstrong, an influential jazz musician. I think Amadeus is after Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as you mentioned.

Yeah I thought maybe Louie after Louie Armstrong.I don't like nn sounding names usually as names but I like Louie on it's own.

You just made my day, I adore Amadeus, I'm so happy to see it used.
Not a fan of Louie though. Or Louis, or any other variant, for that matter.
