Mari?
Unless you're Swedish (which I'm not) this is said MAH-ree. Like Marie but with the stress on the first syllable. Would the pronunciation confuse you or could you guess it was that?
Do you prefer Mairi? That's pronounced the same but the spelling is Scottish Gaelic. There's supposed to be an accent over the A, but my little laptop hates accents.
Would you use Mairi over Mari if you had to use the name?
Pretty fond of the cobo Mari Rowan.
