I like Mary as well, but for me Maria just feels more cosmopolitan. And you're right that outside of "hot spots" Maria would probably be a refreshing choice.

Maria Betrys - I will always associate it with Tetris but I like it's shape. It's like a trendy looking Beatrice.
Maria Clarice - I pronounce it with the -ees sound. It's still nice.
Maria Dove - Cute!
Maria Gwen - I'm not a huge fan of Gwen names but I do like this.
Maria Nelle - Nella honors for me so this is nice.
Maria Noor - I love this.
Maria Sonnet - But it sounds like "Maria's on it". lol
Maria Tamsin - I am always looking for places to put Tamsin. There is just something I like about it.
Maria Tess - Love it. I usually have Tess in my Elinor Sophia Tess combo.
Maria Tuesday - I have this as a combo already but thought because it's a bit more uncommon no one would like it. It's nice to see it suggested.
