Nico Klaus?
I just happened to put Nico Klaus together in my head one day, not realising both nsmes come from Nicholas. I like they way they look together but is it silly to pair two names with the same root?

Way to silly to use, I'd say.
Plus it gives a strong Santa Claus vibe with the Klaus and the Saint Nick associations.

I don't usually mind two names from the same root being put together- for instance, I know an Isabel Bette and a Megan Rita, and that doesn't bother me. But Nico Klaus sounds two similar to the original name. I don't mind Klaus Nico, though.

It's pretty obvious that Nico Klaus is derived from the same origin so it looks pretty ridiculous. It reminds me of the time I encountered people named Liam William and Lisa Beth. I don't know if these were intentional on the part of the parents or if they just liked the repetition. Either way, it's just odd, imo.

I think it looks wrong, just something about it...

I immediately thought "Nicholas," so yes, I think they sound silly together. I am a big fan of Nico in general, though.

It makes me smile, but I think it might be too much as a real name. It would be a fun pet name for someone named Nicholas!

Santa Claus strongly comes to mind (:

Absolutely ridiculous. When you say them together it's just like you've stuck a O in the middle of Nicholas so it just seems like you're trying to be clever, like Stan Lee. Basically it sounds like a joke.
