Re: June Top Ten
Mellisant is very cool. Can I ask where you got this spelling from, and if you would use a nickname?

I got it from a book called "Pangur Bán the White Cat" by Fay Sampson. It's the name of the heroine Finnglas's horse. Millicent has surely had a bajillion spelling variants over the years and I think the settling on Millicent is totally arbitrary, and Mellisant is just as legit, considering the name derives from Amalasuintha and Mellisant isn't more different from that than Millicent is. It's even closer to Mélisande / Melisende. (I do not know why the link to Mélisande does not work, but the link to Melisende does, and it's linked properly from there)I would probably use the nickname Mellie (or Melly, or Melli, not sure what spelling I like most). Not that my husband would ever have agreed to use the name, heh.
