Re: Combo Opinions?
in reply to a message by Howie
Not sure why people want to give their kids 2 to 3 middle names. But let's see...I'm okay with Seraphina, but used as Seraphina Agatha Rose S____ makes the potential full name seem more than a mouthful. Why don't you shorten it to Sera, so then it'll be Sera Agatha Rose S____, and flow better?Don't use the "Sufiyah" spelling; it'll make the name look trashy and lose appeal.

In some combinations, I prefer one middle name, but other times, I like two middles. Our agreed upon name for a first girl has two middles for honoring purposes, so I've been focusing more on two middles for potential sibsets just to match. I also think it gives names more character sometimes.I actually prefer Sarah over Sera. Seraphina was just an idea I had to get to Sarah with a name that's less plain. I know that probably doesn't make much sense. That said, Sarah Agatha Rose is pretty nice too. Sufiyah is an Arabic name. (My boyfriend is Muslim.) It's another spelling of Safiyyah. It's not meant to be a creative spelling of Sophia.
