It pleases me when both a first and a middle name have four letters and are considered a double barrel name. I am not so impressed by hyphens in this situation. I made a poll just now, being inspired by this post, of names that I like that have four letter first and middle names, and could easily be double barrel, e.g. John Luke, Mary Ruth.
