Serena. Pity about Ms Williams, but I was at school with a very nice one, And Tatiana is very frilly.

I like them both, however, since I have a dd named Anna, Tatiana just wouldn't do. Also, we discovered a quirky Serena in my dh's family tree dating back 200 years so that would be pretty cool.

SerenaTatiana is too Russian-sounding for me to use.

I prefer Tatiana. It sounds more distinguished than Serena. Serena's pretty enough, but I like elegant, slightly pretentious names (like Tatiana) TBH.

Tatiana! I like the nicknames better, and Serena lacks the sophistication that Tatiana has!

TatianaI really like the sound of the name, it is very sophisticated and cool in my opinion and I like the nickname Tati as well. I don't mind Serena it has a lovely meaning however I knew a few Serena's so it is a bit common. Please Vote PNL: http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/151224

TatianaI like both, but Tatiana gets my vote. I'm Facebook friends with a girl from high school named Tatiana, so I get a good vibe from it. I also love the nickname Tati!

Hi !!!Oh...it is so hard choose one!!I love both names (I spell Tatjana).But...the best is SERENA.
I love it because it has a lovely meaning and very sweet sound. And it remember me a town that I love: Venice. It is called 'la Serenissima'. Tatjana is lovely as well but...it has not a special meaning for me as Serena has.Byeeeeeee

Although I like both names, Tatiana wins. Tatiana is beautiful, romantic, and has several nice nick names: Tiana, Tia, Ana, etc. Tatiana makes me think of a queen or a fairy godmother. Serena is lovely, but the 's' is sort of slippery. Rena is a nice enough nick name, but it doesn't really do a whole lot for me.

SerenaI do not care for Tatiana

Serena definitely. Tatjana is very common and dated here.

Serena is a very pretty name, I'd have no trouble choosing it over the overblown, snotty Tatiana.

TatianaI've known a few cool ones, and it seems more distinguished than Serena. I like the nn Tati. I have nothing against Serena but it seems more pop-singer than anything else these days.

TatianaI like both, but I like Tatiana more. I think it's more elegant than, and quite a lot more regal than Serena.I like Serena, but there is the fact that Serena was the last name of the owner of the landscaping business my parents used to have our lawn mowed back when I was a teenager. Just a, not negative, but slighty silly association that Serena has for me.______________________________________________________________________________________________
