Elliot
I used to love this (especially with sibling Olivia), but I abandoned it a while ago when Olivia got popular. Elliot got lost along with it. Mikey is watching American Idon, and saw the one contestant and goes, "Hey that's a nice name." Catching my excitement he added, "What about Elliot James?"So I ask you WDYT of Elliot James?I love it, and the fact that he thought of it is just endearing.

I love Elliot, and it does sound nice with Olivia - those are actually the fn's of characters on Law & Order: SVU (that might be why I all of a sudden started liking both names, lol). Elliot James is great. Elliot is recognizable but not overused, also handsome and has personality, imo.

I think it's a wonderful name. Sometimes I love Elliot and sometimes I hate it. I don't know how well it will age, but it's really cute, and Elliot James is a nice combo. I also like that you could call him Eli.

Elliot James is on my "HELP ME CHOOSE A NAME" post! It's at the top of my list for my son due in May... I like it a lot. Both strong names!Check Out Blinkyou.com for thousands of custom glitters and layouts

I like it and also the combo Elliot James.
Personally it reminds me of the film Billy Elliot - I will dance which I think is great and would also be a strong namesake who won't stop doing what he like because others think it's strange.

The sound (of Elliot) is delicate to my ear so I think it works well with the stronger sounding James. It's always nice when your SO initiates name commentary, isn't it! ----Betsy-----

I like Elliot. It's not necessarily a favorite of mine but I like it enough that I would name a child that in good faith. Elliot James is fine although to me James is like John, just a blah name that can be easily tucked most anywhere.

I like it. But I do have to admit that the two Elliot's that I have met before kinda puts a bad thought with it, and so does the guy on Americn Idol. Totally putting all of that out of my mind though, Elliot James sounds great together.

I love the middle name James (Not as a first name) but as a middle name. Personally I don't like Elliot, but It is a nice name, not trendy, overused or ugly.

I love Elliot, i dont care how popular it is.
Elliot James is a bit on the boring side for me, i detest middle names like James, William, Alexander etc.. for boys.~~* BEX *~~Surfing is my religion!Image hosting by Photobucket

I know what you mean; they are the Annes and Lynns for the boys. I really do like the name James, though. Maybe this will end up being a three name combo. I am never satisfied with my boy's combos!

Elliot reminds me of ET.

I think that's what kept me from liking it for a long time. But I've run across other Elliots over the years, and it's changed my view of it quite a bit. ~Heather~

I like it a lot! John really hates it though, so I named my car Elliott. It's an Echo, so Elliott the Echo :o)

I love Elliot--only spelled this way. :D Eliot is too weak, and Elliott too pretentious. Elliot reminds me of Mama Cass and is just very nice-sounding.Elliot James is a handsome combo. So would be James Elliot, now that I think about it--especially if he was called Jimmy. :)Array

Sorry but I despise all James NN, and his cousin's stepson is a James, so it would be weird.

I like the name Elliot James. I normally wouldn't use Elliot as a first name but that goes nicely together.
