Hannah or Rebecca?
They both give me a very similar impression. Do you prefer Hannah or Rebecca?

Hannah. Love it, a beautiful classic name.

Hannah always sounded more open and friendly to me. Rebecca sounds sort of annoyed. Snappish, maybe.

Can't say they're similar inside my head. Hannah is if possible even more stodgy than Anna, and Rebecca has a light-hearted dancing rhythm that I greatly enjoy.

Hannah seems really bland to me. Rebecca has more zest.

Oddly, those are the names of both my Grandmothers.I slightly prefer Rebecca, but not because she was the nicer person, both were lovely grandmothers.

Rebecca! Hannah bores me to tears. If it were between Rebecca and Anna, I'd choose Anna. I dunno, there's just something so blah about Hannah. And Rebecca is so interesting. It's much stronger than Hannah too.

I prefer Hannah. Your comment is interesting because the names Rebecca and Susannah seem similar to me. Do you like Becky as a nickname for Rebecca? (I do.)

It's not close to being a contest. I hate Hannah and love Rebecca. They don't give me the same impression. Rebecca is a pretty young farm girl, Hannah is a plain nineteen century woman in an unattractive dark dress that covers her neck, and very flat, slicked down hair.

Hi !!!Well..
They have a similar sound for me too.But another time I choose Rebecca,
It is simple and clear to spell and pronounce.
It can be used in different languages.
It has also somenthing aristocratic as I already said.Hannah has too many "h" imo TT
There are so many variant of this name that it is nearly impossible choose another one to describe..
But definetly I dislike this one.
If you want a similar one so use Channah which has the "ch" sound pronounced kh. I think it could be enough similar but much better.
