Re: What would you name a child today if...

just doing scenario nr 1 :)
Boys:
- Oscar Leonidas
- Ramses Hero
- Sargon Maximus
- Lotus Rex
Girls:
- Nova Ravenna
- Anemone Amaryllis
- Saga Nemesis
- Era Winter
Why I can't really use these: Husband vetoed Oscar :( He says it's a dog's name... Ramses might actually be used, but I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to do so when push comes to shove. I like both Sargon and Saga pronounced with G like in 'jogging', but in my language the G is pronounced differently and then I don't think Sargon & Saga sound that good any more. I love Lotus on a boy, but I'm afraid people will see it as a girls name and he might get teased because of it. I love Nova, but it got too popular and my brother in law named his daughter this. Anemone is too complicated to pronounce and I think people might shorten it to Anne regularly. Besides that my husband is iffy about Era, I'd never use it bc it's too similar to Elva (my daughter).
For MNs: I'd use honouring MNs in real life.
