I like it and would be happy to use it - there's a family tradition what's in abeyance which requires an H name + Daniel, Daniel being the one that's actually used.If I lived somewhere else, I'd prefer Hugh to Hugo, but here there are pronunciation issues with Hugh.

I hated it at first, but it has grown on me more and more over the years and I really like it now.

It's popular here ans has been since I was born. But I like it. I get a friendly and warm feeling from it and I can't imagine a Hugo being anything but sweet.

I think it could be very unfortunate if the child ends up being larger than average for any reason.I think of the character Hugo from LOST.

Yeah, you have a point there. And LOST? Love!!! Plus also that character (:

Hugo is fine. A bit short, but Emma and Noah are short, and the most popular names in the country. It can't really be shortened but that is fine, what would it be? Go, Hue, Hug?

I love Hugo! Very sweet and adorable, but handsome. It's quite popular where I live, but I'm yet to meet one. I really like the meaning too, which I've found a rare occurence with boys' names.

Love! Hope it doesn't get too popular here in the US because I may use it one day :)
