Re: Which version and why?
I love Emmanuelle. The additional a in Emanuela just makes it one too mamy syllables for me annd Manuela is nice, but seems less elegant.Francesca is my favorite of those. Francoise and Franziska aren't easy for me to say and Francisca I doesnt like the SEES in.Blanche and Blanca are my favorites, no particular reason.I think the g gives a hardness to the name whivh makes it less white-bread boring and I like the one less syllable of Magdalene.I would choose Letitia if I had to, but no strong feelings.
I LOVE Mafalda and how witchy it feels, but otherwise I like the clean vertical lines of Mathilde when it is spelled out or the cute simplitiy of Matilda.Johanna just because. Joana looks likw it should be said the same as Jonah to my English speaking eyes, but I do prefer Joana pronounced properly to Joanna.Elinor is my favorite. No frills. I also like Lenore and Lenora which you didn't mention from that family for the same reason.Beatriz is stunning. Sultry and elegant. Like a warm evening. Beatrix is spunky and makes me think of the vibrant energy of small animals. Beatrice strikes the balance between. All so lovely.Naomi also because of my clumsy English speaking tongue. The others don't come easy.~Anna~
