Which version and why?
I like different ones for different reasons and was hoping to get some feedback. If you REALLY dislike one, why? What makes that version your favorite or least favorite?Emmanuelle, Emanuela, ManuelaFrancoise, Francesca, Francisca, FranziskaBlanche, Branca, Bianca, BlancaMadeleine, Magdalena, Magdalene, Madalena, Maddalena, MagaliLetitia, Lettice, Leticia, Letizia, LaetitiaMatilda, Matilde, Mathilde, Mathilda, MafaldaJoanna, Johanna, Juana, Joana, JanaLeonor, Leonore, Leonora, Eleonore, Eleanor, ElinorBeatriz, Beatrix, BeatriceNaomi, Noemi, Noemie, Noemia(Part of my problem is that I have British, French-Canadian, Italian, and Spanish influences, while my partner is Portuguese and French. So I'm not really tied to any one version because of origin, but if I named one child, say, Françoise, I would go with French names for the other children as well.)

I love Emmanuelle. The additional a in Emanuela just makes it one too mamy syllables for me annd Manuela is nice, but seems less elegant.Francesca is my favorite of those. Francoise and Franziska aren't easy for me to say and Francisca I doesnt like the SEES in.Blanche and Blanca are my favorites, no particular reason.I think the g gives a hardness to the name whivh makes it less white-bread boring and I like the one less syllable of Magdalene.I would choose Letitia if I had to, but no strong feelings.
I LOVE Mafalda and how witchy it feels, but otherwise I like the clean vertical lines of Mathilde when it is spelled out or the cute simplitiy of Matilda.Johanna just because. Joana looks likw it should be said the same as Jonah to my English speaking eyes, but I do prefer Joana pronounced properly to Joanna.Elinor is my favorite. No frills. I also like Lenore and Lenora which you didn't mention from that family for the same reason.Beatriz is stunning. Sultry and elegant. Like a warm evening. Beatrix is spunky and makes me think of the vibrant energy of small animals. Beatrice strikes the balance between. All so lovely.Naomi also because of my clumsy English speaking tongue. The others don't come easy.

Manuela. I like it! The E- in front makes it mumbly, but Manuela is great. Mah-noo-eh-la, Mah-nweh-la ... not Man-yoo-ella.Francesca is my favorite of the Franc-names but I'm not sure I'd choose it over a version that I felt was more in line with family heritage. My own daughter would have to be a Frances. All of them are nice though, Francoise is the only one that kinda turns me off.I don't really like any of the Blanc-names but if I had to be called one, I'd pick Bianca and go by Bebe. Blanca is second choice. I don't like Blanche because I say it just like the word blanch. It sounds nicer in French.I like Madeleine best. Magdalene least because it's confusing to pronounce. Magali is not very attractive to me either although it is probably nice with the right accent.I don't like any of the Letitia names. Not my favorite sounds! I guess Lettice is the most friendly, but it looks a lot like the word lettuce. Letizia is probably the coolest.Matilda is so familiar to me, so that's a gimme. I don't really like any of them, though. They feel to me like an apron covered in white flour. Mafalda seems very clunky to me.Joanna is my favorite johan-name. They are all nice but I prefer them pronounced with J instead of H or Y sound, so probably Jana is my least favorite, it's the one most insisting on the Y sound in my mind. I'd like it if it were said like Jane-uh.Eleanor, Beatrix, and Naomi are all names I don't really like much in any form.

I love a lot of these names!Emmanuelle, Emanuela, Manuela - love Manuela, I think it's beautiful and also like Emanuelle. Not a fan of Emanuela, I just like one or the other. Francoise, Francesca, Francisca, Franziska - my favorite is Francesca, I always thought it sounded worldly; my least favorite is Francisca - I just don't like the "-Cisca"Blanche, Branca, Bianca, Blanca - Blanca's my favorite because I just think it's really elegant. Branca is my least favorite; I don't see any appeal to it. Madeleine, Magdalena, Magdalene, Madalena, Maddalena, Magali - really like all of them, But would choose Maddalena has my favorite because I like the spelling and the prettiness Letitia, Lettice, Leticia, Letizia, Laetitia - not a huge fan of this name in general (Lwttice makes me think of lettuce), but I like the look of LaetitiaMatilda, Matilde, Mathilde, Mathilda, Mafalda - not a huge fan but I'd go with Matilde. It strikes me as sophisticated

Emmanuelle, Emanuela, Manuela: I don't really care for this family of names, but if forced I'd go with Emmanuelle. It's a bit of a mouthful, but elegant.Francoise, Francesca, Francisca, Franziska: Francesca, though I'm not a huge fan of any of them. "Fran" is such an ugly sound.Blanche, Branca, Bianca, Blanca: Bianca, I guess. All of them are really harsh and snotty to me.Madeleine, Magdalena, Magdalene, Madalena, Maddalena, Magali: I'd pick Madeline (-line ending) if that were an option, but since it's not I'll go with Maddalena. It's gorgeous. I also like Magdalene.Letitia, Lettice, Leticia, Letizia, Laetitia: Laetitia, as it reminds me the least of lettuce.Matilda, Matilde, Mathilde, Mathilda, Mafalda: Matilda, though Mathilde is nice too. Matilde and Mathilda just look wrong and Mafalda is that annoying cartoon character.Joanna, Johanna, Juana, Joana, Jana: Johanna (though really, Jane is my favorite).

I love both Emmanuelle and Manuela, but I think my favorite would have to be Emmanuelle. It just sounds so elegant and pretty. Not a big fan of Emanuela, it's too much of a mouthful imo.Favorite is Francisca followed by Francesca, but tbh I don't really like any of them. I don't like the way Francoise sounds and I hate Franziska.Bianca and Blanca are both very pretty. I like Bianca better though. Dislike how Blanche sounds and Branca sounds like bronchitis.I love Madeleine, it's gorgeous. I also like Madalena / Maddalena and Magali. Dislike all Magda- names, they just sound so harsh.Favorite would be Laeticia followed closely by Leticia. Just like how they sound the best. Dislike the "t" sound in Letizia. Dislike Lettice because it reminds me of lettuce but it's still bettering than Letitia (yuck). Matilda and Mathilda are pronounced the same to me, so those are my favorites. Joana and Joanna are pronounced the same to me. That said, my favorite is Johanna because I think it's beautiful. I dislike Jana. Sounds harsh and boring to me.Favorite is Eleanor / Elinor (I can't choose which spelling I like more). Favorite is definitely Beatrice, it's one of my all time favorites and I love the nn Bea.Love Naomi. Not a fan of any of the others.

Hi !!!!1 Emmanuelle: I'm Italian but I prefer this over Manuela/Emanuela. Actually I dislike this name in every feminine form while I love Manuel, Immanuel and Emmanuel. Anyway I choose Emmanuelle because it is the more elegant and melodious.2 Françoise I prefer this because I love the ç-names and also because it is the closest to the meaning of the name. I find it elegant, feminine, sweet and lively.
I also like Francisca but only because it is the name of a main character in a telenovela that I love. 3 Bianca: the Italian variant wins. I love it but I actually like every variant of it. Unfortunately Bianca is geting popular here in Italy but I still find it sweet and aristocratic. I love it.4 Magali because Maddalena seems too religious while Magdalena / Madeleine reminds me of the "muffin".
Magali is unusual and youthful imo.
I suggest you Malena, Magda but also Madalina ehich are nice forms imo.5 Letizia this is still a word-name in Italy although as a way to describe happiness is kind of dated and a bit literarian now. But I prefer this over the other forms. I would like Laetitia because it is the original one but I find it quite snobbish. I strongly dislike Lettice that is horrible because of its sound.6 Mafalda wins but it is too associate with the Savoy Family here. I suggest you Maud (or Maude if you want) that I really like.

Emmanuelle - the most elegant & chic version, IMO (spelling problems setting aside) Francesca - the most beautiful one, IMO (love almost everything Italian)Bianca - as above, whereas my least fav is Blanche, really dated & unattractive pronunciationNone of them - my fav is Madlen with this spelling, which is why I can't say exactlyLetizia - the Italian style ..., the least one is definitely Lettice, a strange & odd look Matilda - my fav, looks just better without h, IMO, least Mafalda, I can't do anything withJana - to cut a long story short, clear & brief, pretty niceLeonor - the fav, the least Eleonore, simply too gassy, especially the E-le-o ... soundingBeatrix - the x makes this one just looking fresh & stylish, nearly similar to Phoenix/FelixNoémie - it's the same as in Emmanuelle, the least one Naomi, don't like the Na-o sounding

Emmanuelle, Emanuela, Manuela
-beware that Emanuelle might make French people think of a famous erotic moie series from the 70s. Still, I like that one best because the sound is just awesome.
-Emanuela is my least fav of these, bc of the unnecsesary syllableFrancoise, Francesca, Francisca, Franziska
-I dislike all, but if forced to choose: Francisca is best and Françoise worst.Blanche, Branca, Bianca, Blanca
-Bianca, even though I dislike it. Blanca sounds too "blank". Branca doesn't sound freindly. I can't stand the sound of Blanche.Madeleine, Magdalena, Magdalene, Madalena, Maddalena, Magali
-Magdalena is beautiful. I also really like Magali. I don't care much for the variants with a G. Maddalena is worst, bc it lokos like an accidental misspel to me.Letitia, Lettice, Leticia, Letizia, Laetitia
-Letitia is easiest to actually use. Laetitia would be my fav as a GP. Lettice the absolute worst, bc of Lettuce.Matilda, Matilde, Mathilde, Mathilda, Mafalda
