Hi Perrine !!!This time I choose Isabella. It still has a royal vibe in my mind thanks to all the queens and princesses with this name.

Lily because I prefer the symbolism.I'd pick Sabe/Sabé as a NN for Isabella. I don't like Izzy or Bella...I know someone who calls her sister Isabella "Boujee" as a pet name.

I would choose Lily, because I don't like any nicknames for Isabella, and I wouldn't want to call her Isabella, forever. Ugh.

Lily. I just prefer the sound of it more.I don't really mind Isabella. I mean sort of like it but not nearly enough to want to use it or choose it over the other name. If it was 'Isabelle' however, that might change things.Nickname: Isa or Bella I guess. I'm not much too found of 'Izzy/Izzie' Never cared much for the sound. Also a cousin of mine had a friend 'Isabella/Isabelle' who primarily went by this diminutive and I just remember her being so superficial with a plastic-type personality. She was the exact opposite of sweet and kind, able to see right through her. I'm glad that my cousin lost touch with her.

Isabella can at least shorten to Isabel as well as the overused Bella. Like Rose, a Lily is a Lily is a Lily! Also, Lily comes and goes in the charts, while Isabel seems to have more staying power. If for some reason - like, I had a baby girl in the kind of country that insists on people using names from its official naming list only - I had to use Isabella, I'd use Isabel all the time, without a nn.

Oh, Lily, definitely. I've always hated Isabella, simply because I don't care for the sound of the name. "IZZ", "BELL", no thank you. Lily is a little pale and wimpy but still miles better than Isabella IMO.

I have a niece named Lily, so that's out.I really don't like Isabella, but I do like Izzy and Belle. Isabella sounds frumpy to me.Lily is crazily popular, and while pretty it is a little flimsy. I think it makes a fun middle name though!

Hmmm... I think I'd choose Lily over Isabella, but I'd absolutely choose Isabel or Isabelle over Lily. Isabella is just too much of a trend name for me; Lily is too, but it's less likely to be a future Jennifer than Isabella is. I'd use Belle as a nickname. I'd avoid Bella at all costs.
